The Jende Hard Felt strop is made from compressed wool and used widely as a straight razor stropping medium. An unloaded felt strop can be used to clean the blade of residue. When loaded with abrasives, the strong, yet soft felt properties will help maintain your delicate, razor sharp knife edges. We highly recommend using the Jende Poly Diamond Sprays as an abrasive.
To load the felt strop with Jende Poly Diamond Spray, spritz the spray to cover the strop surface evenly. It will darken in color. When it is sufficiently covered, let it dry for several hours then use as normal.

Hello everyone! I was doing some searching online and came across this strop. I was looking for a strop setup and these seem like a great option. I was wondering though, can these be run dry or should I use diamond emulsions with them? Thanks! Product is great but I have few questions.

Hi Charlie, we specifically recommend using the Jende Poly Diamond Sprays on the felt. It covers the felt more evenly than the heavier emulsions.
