This Jende double sided paddle strop is made from acacia wood and is configured with rough veg tanned cow leather and smooth veg tanned kangaroo leather. The rough side is ideal for loading with your favorite compound bar, spray or emulsion, while the smooth roo side is ideal for clean stropping, or can also be loaded with a finer grit.
The Jende 2 sided Rough & Roo paddle strop features a 10mm, 3/8″ thick acacia wood paddle with rough cow leather on one side and smooth kangaroo leather on the other. Traditionally, the rough (suede) side of the strop is loaded with our Aluminum Oxide compound, Chromium Oxide compound, or our Jende Poly Diamond Sprays and Emulsions. The Kangaroo side can be left clean or loaded with an emulsion.
This configuration of paddle strop is ideal for straight razors, knives of all kinds, chisels and plane blades and scissors.
